Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 10 g Salt
  • 10 g Active dry yeast
  • 250 ml Warm milk About 40°C (104°F)
  • 100 g Melted butter
  • 2 large Eggs

Filling Ingredients

  • 200 ml Vanilla custard Must cool to room temperature before use.
  • 100 g Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  • In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

Shaping

  • Roll out the dough and cut into squares.
  • Place a spoonful of vanilla custard and a few chocolate chips in the center of each square.
  • Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and shape into brioche.
  • Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store brioches at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 48 hours. For longer storage, refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze individually for 1 month. Reheat at 160°C (325°F) for 8 minutes.
