Ingredients
  

For the beef preparation

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil For sautéing
  • 500 g lean ground beef Use lean for healthier options
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika For flavor
  • 1 tsp cumin For flavor
  • 1 tsp kosher salt For seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper For seasoning
  • 60 ml beef stock To deglaze the pan

For the servings

  • 100 g cooked rice Can substitute with cauliflower rice for lower carbs
  • 150 g roasted vegetables Choose your favorite mix

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Chop onions and peppers, and assemble mise en place.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, and sauté onions for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the pan, breaking it into pieces, and brown for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Stir in smoked paprika, cumin, kosher salt, and black pepper to evenly season the beef.
  • Deglaze with beef stock, simmering for 5 minutes until reduced.
  • Portion the cooked beef into 5 containers, each with cooked rice and roasted vegetables.

Notes

Cool cooked beef uncovered for 20 minutes before sealing to reduce condensation and maintain texture. Store in airtight containers for best results.
