  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper For a milder flavor, reduce the amount.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix the ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, grated onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Shape the kebab: Place the mixture on a parchment paper-lined baking tray and shape it into a log.

Cooking

  • Bake in the oven: Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the kebab is cooked through.
  • Slice the kebab: Let the kebab cool slightly, then slice it thinly for serving.

Serving

  • Assemble your kebabs: Serve in pita or flatbread with fresh vegetables and your choice of sauce.

Notes

Ensure you do not overmix the meat mixture, as this could lead to tough kebabs. Just mix until ingredients are well combined. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can prepare the meat mixture a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
