A fresh, fun homemade jello recipe using natural ingredients and customizable flavors.
2 cups fresh fruit juice
2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
2-4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup fresh fruit pieces (optional)
Mint leaves for garnish
1. Bloom gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water for 5 minutes.
2. Heat juice and sweetener in a saucepan until warm.
3. Stir in bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
4. Pour into molds or glasses.
5. Refrigerate 4+ hours until set.
6. Serve garnished with fruit and mint.
Avoid boiling juice to preserve flavor.
For a creamier texture, mix in 1/2 cup Greek yogurt before chilling.
