A quick and crowd-pleasing bowl combining crispy wontons and savory-sweet teriyaki chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying (or spray for baking)
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix shredded chicken with 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce until evenly coated.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, cut wonton wrappers into strips and fry until golden and crisp, about 1–2 minutes per side.
  3. In another bowl, mix coleslaw, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble by placing fried wonton strips in a bowl, topping with teriyaki chicken, adding slaw, and garnishing with green onions.

Notes

Warm chicken briefly before assembly for best results.
