A delicious and easy slow cooker meal featuring tender steak bites infused with garlic butter flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup unsalted beef stock
  • 1 ounce packet au jus gravy mix
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper in a large bowl and toss to combine.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the steak in batches.
  3. Add the browned steak to the slow cooker along with sliced onion and garlic, stirring to combine.
  4. Pour in the beef stock and sprinkle the au jus gravy mix over the top.
  5. Top with sliced butter.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice to enjoy the gravy.
