Delicious savory mini tarts filled with seasoned beef, cheese, and ranch dressing, all nestled in crispy phyllo shells. Perfect for parties and potlucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook ground beef in skillet until no longer pink. Drain fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes and chiles to beef. Cook for 5 minutes more.
  4. In a bowl, combine cheese and ranch dressing. Add cooked taco meat and mix.
  5. Spoon mixture into frozen phyllo shells.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes if thawed, or 10-13 minutes if frozen until cheese melts and edges brown.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute lean ground turkey or chicken. Use Greek yogurt instead of ranch for a lower-fat alternative.
