Quick and spooky, these pumpkin deviled eggs bring festive charm and flavor to your Halloween party.

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs, cold
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a tangy swap)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (plus extra for dusting)
  • Fresh chives, cut into 1-inch stems
  • Optional: 1 drop orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Place cold eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath for 5 minutes and peel.
  2. Slice each egg lengthwise and remove yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Add orange food coloring if needed.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the mixture, dust with smoked paprika, and insert chive stems to complete the pumpkin look.
