Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta

Creamy pasta dish packed with the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger, ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey or chicken)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crispy
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook 8 ounces pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. Fry 6 slices of bacon until crispy, drain on a paper towel, and chop.
  3. In a skillet, cook 1 pound ground beef until no pink remains, drain fat, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Reduce heat, add 4 ounces cream cheese and 1 cup shredded cheddar, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add drained pasta and chopped bacon to the skillet, toss to coat, and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Plate and serve with extra cheddar and cracked black pepper.

Notes

For a leaner option, use ground turkey or add steamed broccoli for extra vegetables.
