Kilted Sausage Bites are easy, savory, and crowd-pleasing appetizers that wrap seasoned sausage in crescent dough with cheese and green onions.

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into small triangles.
  4. Place a small spoonful of cooked sausage on each triangle, add cheese, and a sprinkle of green onions.
  5. Roll the dough around the sausage, forming bite-sized pieces.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
