Honey Garlic Chicken Breast

A quick and flavorful dish featuring chicken breasts cooked in a rich blend of honey, garlic, soy sauce, and butter.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create four even steaks.
  2. Sprinkle each side of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken steak in flour and shake off the excess.
  4. Heat most of the butter in a skillet over high heat and cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another minute.
  5. Decrease heat to medium-high, add garlic and reserved butter, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Pour in vinegar, soy sauce, and honey, stir to combine, and simmer for about 1 minute until slightly thickened.
  7. Turn the chicken in the skillet to coat thoroughly in the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat, place on plates, and drizzle remaining sauce on top.

Notes

Leftover Honey Garlic Chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
