Glazed Pigs in a Blanket are the ultimate game day and party appetizer, featuring savory Lit’l Smokies wrapped in crescent dough with a sweet, sticky glaze.

Ingredients

  • Crescent rolls, 1 package (8–12 rolls)
  • Dijon mustard, 1 to 2 tsp per piece (adjust taste)
  • Lit’l Smokies, 12 to 24 pieces
  • Brown sugar, 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds, 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and cut them into triangles.
  3. Place a Lit’l Smokie on each triangle, add a dab of dijon mustard, and roll them up.
  4. Place them on a baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and poppy seeds to create the glaze.
  6. Brush the glaze over the rolled pigs in a blanket.
  7. Bake in the oven until golden and cooked through, as per crescent roll package instructions.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For heat, add sriracha to the mustard. You can also use plant-based sausages for a vegetarian option.
