A simple and flavorful method for baking chicken breasts in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ½ teaspoon paprika.
  3. In a bowl, combine ¼ teaspoon paprika, melted butter, oregano, parsley, and minced garlic. Mix and set aside.
  4. In a non-stick or cast-iron frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden, approximately 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Slowly pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken and transfer to the oven. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F), around 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon some of the butter sauce over the chicken.
