A creamy cheese-based sauce perfect for dipping, tailored for gatherings or game day events.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. white American cheese
  • 4 oz. pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 2/3 cup half and half
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 4 oz. green chiles, drained
  • Fresh diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and sliced jalapeño, to top

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 inch of water to a boil to create a double boiler effect.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and place a bowl inside the pot.
  3. Add white American cheese, pepper jack cheese, half and half, garlic, jalapeño, and black pepper.
  4. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture melts into a creamy dip.
  5. Stir in green chiles.

Notes

For variations, substitute non-dairy cheese for a vegan option or add chorizo for a heartier dish.
