Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz, 226 g) crescent roll dough, unrolled into one sheet
1 round Brie, about 8 oz (225 g)
1/2 cup (120 g) cranberry sauce, whole-berry
1/4 cup (30 g) chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
1 egg + 1 tsp water, beaten for egg wash
Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough without separating triangles, lay in a circular shape overlapping points to form a ring with a center opening.
Place Brie wheel in center, optional slice for even melting, spread cranberry sauce over Brie.
Sprinkle nuts, fold triangle tips over filling, tuck tips under ring to seal.
Whisk egg and water, brush over dough, bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with rosemary or thyme.
Notes
Let the ring rest briefly before cutting to avoid runny slices.
