A comforting baked dish featuring seasoned ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, sweet corn, and crispy tater tots, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) corn, drained
  • 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheese, cheddar or choice
  • 1 bag (32 oz / 907 g) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain fat.
  3. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef; stir until combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the beef mixture, then drained corn, and sprinkle shredded cheese.
  5. Arrange tater tots evenly over the cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and casserole is bubbling.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
