Elegant and easy-to-make chocolate covered strawberries that are perfect for parties and gifting.

Ingredients

  • 200-300 g fresh strawberries
  • 150-200 g dark chocolate (55-70% cocoa recommended)
  • Optional: 10-15 g white chocolate for drizzling
  • Optional: 20-30 g chopped nuts for rolling

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drizzle off.
  4. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. If desired, melt white chocolate and drizzle it over the strawberries.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For the shiniest finish, temper your chocolate or add 5 g coconut oil per 100 g chocolate. Best eaten within 24 hours.
