  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it up, drain fat.
  3. Mix the casserole in a large bowl, combining beef, rice, soup, milk, 1 cup cheese, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble in the baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until hot and bubbly, and let cool a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheddar for better melt and texture, and measure rice cooked, not uncooked.
