A creamy, spicy dip that combines shredded chicken with cream cheese, blue cheese or ranch, hot sauce, and melted cheddar. Perfect for game days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 300 g)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened (225 g)
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (120 ml)
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce, e.g., Frank’s RedHot (120 ml)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, optional (15 g)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or a crockpot. If baking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. If using a crockpot, cook on low for 2-3 hours.
  3. Once heated through, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and let it melt. Optional: garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

For a milder version, swap blue cheese dressing for ranch. Adjust spice levels to preference.
