A creamy and vibrant Pink Sauce Pasta that combines the best of tomato sauce and cream for a quick, comforting dinner.

Ingredients

  • 200 g crushed tomatoes
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 30 g grated Parmesan
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh basil (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente, about 9 to 11 minutes.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan until sauce turns pink.
  5. Toss pasta in sauce with butter and fresh basil, finishing with salt and black pepper.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of pasta water. For a vegan option, substitute heavy cream with cashew cream.
