A classic beef and cheese sandwich featuring ground beef and melty cheese packed into a soft hoagie roll, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/4 cups cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1-2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of avocado oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 lb of ground beef and 1 finely chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté for 7-10 minutes until browned and the onion is soft.
  3. Sprinkle in 2 teaspoons of Montreal Steak Spice.
  4. Toss in the chopped green bell pepper and minced garlic, cooking for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add 1 1/4 cups of cream of mushroom soup and 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Turn off the heat and fold in 1-2 cups of grated cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Spoon the mixture onto the hoagie rolls and serve warm.

Notes

Customize by adding different vegetables or cheese types for a unique twist.
