This banana loaf bread maker recipe is a soft, moist, and hands-free twist on classic banana bread. It’s simple, reliable, and delicious every time.
Ingredients
2 large overripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Optional: 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
Instructions
1. Mash bananas and add eggs, oil, and vanilla.
2. Add sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
3. Insert pan into bread maker. Choose “Quick Bread” or “Cake” setting.
4. Bake for 50–60 minutes. Toothpick should come out mostly clean.
5. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then move to a wire rack to finish cooling.
6. Slice and enjoy warm or cool.
Notes
Use overripe bananas with brown spots for best sweetness.
Avoid overmixing to keep loaf light.
Add chocolate chips or walnuts after the mix phase if machine allows.
